Marine Radio Operator Certificate of Proficiency
A Marine Radio Operators’ Certificate of Proficiency is a prerequisite for all commercial qualifications. It is also required for all who use marine VHF and MF/HF radios and is strongly recommended for others pursuing recreational maritime training.
This course aims to provide the knowledge and skills for candidates to achieve the MROCP issued by the Australian Communications Authority. It also seeks to develop confidence and general competence in marine radio usage.
This course is comprised of three main sections over two nights; introduction, revision and the examination. During the first night you will have a chance to learn your way around your radio. You will also will receive your handbook and study notes in preparation for you exam the following week.
