LIMITS
A Marine Radio Operators' Certificate of Proficiency (TDM ME5 07B) is a prerequisite for all commercial qualifications. It is also required for all who use marine VHF and MF/HF radios and is strongly recommended for others pursuing recreational maritime training.
PREREQUISITES
There are no prerequisites for this course.
SCOPE
This course aims to provide the knowledge and skills for candidates to achieve the MROCP issued by the Australian Communications Authority. It also seeks to develop confidence and general competence in marine radio usage.
COURSE STRUCTURE
This course is conducted over four weekday evenings 19.00 - 22.00 with an examination on the last night.
ASSESSMENT
Candidates will sit for the relevant examination conducted for the Australian Communications Authority at Sandringham Yacht Club
